What does quality control consist in?

We provide a professional quality control service at all stages of production processes (control of components, semi-finished products, final details) and in all design phases (Pre-series, PPAP, Series Production). We are specialists in terms of implementation of quality control services within the framework of procedures for launching new projects of GP12, Safe Launch Plan, New Project Quality Wall, as well as part of the implementation of selection (containment), to separate non-conforming units at the D3 stage in the problem-solving method through the 8D qualitative tool. Our Quality Engineers participate in
the processes of defining the root cause of the problem (D4) by using XR or computed tomography. Professional quality control is also essential for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production. The quality control service is carried out visually and with measurement tools.

The SGP Group also has accreditation to implement special CSL1, CSL2 statuses (additional product quality control required in case of special status). With measuring equipment at our disposal, we are also able to carry out quality control by using the methods of XR, 3D and small elements under the microscope. Our experienced specialists also carry out quality control on the principle of the “quality wall”, the so-called firewall. This is
a comprehensive part inspection, detail measurement and, if necessary, also repair and modification of parts, packaging, or repackaging.

The services carried out by the SGP Group within the framework of quality control also include Safe Launch Plan (planning safe launching) and GP-12 (strengthened control).

Stages of service implementation

Order process and implementation

Partner Quality problem     1 Quality problem The customer has a problem with the quality of the product and there is a need to use our services.
    2 Acceptance of the order for execution The customer contacts us and we collect all the necessary data and develop the operation strategy.
    3 Contact with the supplier The SGP representative contacts the customer’s supplier directly regardless of where the supplier is based and establishes all the details concerning the inspected detail.
    4 Acceptance of the order execution along with the provision of resources Our employee assigned to the order execution starts operations in accordance with the joint arrangements and the specificity of the task (e.g., selection, sorting, inspection, or repair). They are also responsible for appointing controllers, organizing the necessary tools and other tasks.
    5 Order execution In the next step, we proceed to the execution of the order by, e.g., coordinating the work of the team and familiarizing the staff with the instructions for selection, sorting, inspection, or repair. All the time we watch over the progress of work and the order execution in accordance with the adopted guidelines.
    6 Reporting and monitoring Once the order has been completed, the coordinator reports the course of the order execution in the form agreed with the customer. Subsequently, they send the report on the execution of the order to the customer and the supplier.
    7 Order completion Once the order has been completed, we provide the customer with components after selection, sorting, inspection, or repair and we settle with the supplier for the execution of the order.
Partner Resolve problem     8 Service completion and Feedback Our customers’ opinion is crucial to us. After the order is completed, SGP verifies the quality of the order execution with the Customer, and the conclusions drawn on the basis of the comments received will be used to further improve the process.
